Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre and are cross trained to support all departments. They can progress to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and six months of service.

They train staff, ensure policy adherence, and uphold high standards of guest service, safety, and operations while working flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Food handling training and applicable local certifications.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for managers handling alcohol.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during shifts.
• Excellent Guest service and cash handling.
• Clear English communication and team collaboration.
• Ability to train and lead others and handle conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM decisions and communicates with staff.
• Works in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches team members.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports.
• Inspects theatre facilities and equipment and reports repairs.
• Ensures dress code compliance and excellent guest service.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines and reports employee relations issues.
• Identifies and addresses safety issues and maintains high work ethic.
