Vail Resorts, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Ski & Ride School in Crested Butte, CO. This leadership role focuses on daily operations, staff management, and high-quality lesson delivery across programs.

The position requires strong leadership, scheduling, and guest service skills, with opportunities for professional development and wellness benefits. Seasonal winter work with full-time hours is available.

Formación

• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Minimum of two years of full-time experience at a ski resort or Ski & Ride School.
• Ability to lead teams, develop staff, and foster collaboration.
• Strong understanding of guest service principles and operational excellence.
• Experience with scheduling, labor management, or related systems.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily operations of Ski & Ride School programs, ensuring lesson quality and guest satisfaction.
• Build engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for all abilities.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and labor to meet guest demand and financial goals.
• Supervise leads, staff, and instructors, ensuring smooth check-in/out processes.
• Coach, evaluate, and develop staff to maintain high instructional standards.
• Collaborate with other resort departments to optimize guest experiences.
• Support guest experience goals through proactive leadership and improvements.
• Maintain facilities and safety standards.
