Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits.
• Is a self-starter, has initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets and store operations.
• Consult with Store Manager to set action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• In the Store Manager's absence, assume responsibility for the entire store.
• Lead in recruiting, training, and evaluating store personnel.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments when needed.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Maintain strong customer service and assist customers entering the store.
