Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and team, driving profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development. You will coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers.

You will recruit and develop staff, own areas of responsibility, implement plans to maximize efficiency, perform Service Leader duties, and ensure SOPs and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication with customers and team.
• Passion for retail and fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to achieve business goals.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop highly productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
