Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running a drive-in operation. You will train and supervise Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops while ensuring quality food, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

You will also handle opening/closing duties and support administrative tasks to keep daily operations smooth. The role requires flexibility for irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and a focus on customer service and compliance with company

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to follow appearance and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet operational standards.
• Adheres to policies in the employee handbook.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory and food cost control.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Maintains records and required documentation.
