Job summary

Apartment-Management-Consultants is seeking an Assistant Manager in Los Angeles to support the Community Manager in financial and operational tasks. You will handle file management, resident inquiries, and data entry into property management software while ensuring excellent service.

The role requires at least 6 months in property management, strong communication, and organizational skills. Compensation is $27–$29 per hour with vacation, health programs, 401K options, holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in property management or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Respond to resident requests using courteous, sales-driven approaches.
• Collect all monies due and supervise evictions, skips, and move-outs; walk units to assess occupancy.
• Coordinate with outside legal counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals; enter data into property management software.
• Oversee residents' renter’s insurance procedures and deposits; manage applications.
