Job summary

Zaxbys is expanding, and a capable Assistant Manager is being sought to join our team in Elizabeth City. You will manage daily restaurant operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold all policies and standards.

This role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, and maintaining service quality while building a positive team culture and ensuring safety and compliance. Apply to lead by example.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess leadership qualities and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a team and interact cooperatively with others.
• Open availability; 5 days, 32–48 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Successful background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations and ensure policies are followed.
• Coach and develop team members and conduct performance reviews.
• Create and maintain staff schedules per company standards and laws.
• Delegate shift assignments and communicate expectations.
• Ensure guest experiences meet quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records and comply with company and legal requirements.
• Escalate concerns to General Manager and District Manager as needed.
• Foster a positive culture and high team morale.
