Zax LLC is hiring an Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations in Virginia. You will ensure guest experiences meet standards, coach team members, and uphold training and safety protocols while managing schedules and performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• 1-3 years management experience required; restaurant management experience preferred.
• Open availability: 5 days, 32–48 hours per week; flexible schedule incl. days/nights/weekends/holidays.
• Successful completion of background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete training requirements, including development plans and food safety certifications.
• Enhance guest experiences by coaching team members to meet high standards.
• Create and follow effective schedules in line with company policies and local laws.
• Delegate shift duties, communicate expectations, and adjust staffing as needed.
• Supervise and mentor staff to achieve quarterly goals and maintain quality service.
• Ensure compliance with standards and promptly report concerns to leaders.
• Foster a positive culture and handle guest and team concerns professionally.
• Maintain records, processes, and safety procedures per guidelines.
