Sizzling Platter LLC in Westerville, OH is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, lead shifts, coach team members, and ensure exceptional guest service. This hands-on hourly role covers front-of-house and back-of-house duties, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, inventory support, hiring and training, and maintaining food quality and safety standards.

Flexible scheduling with non-exempt status; overtime eligible.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and direct team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Provide coaching and feedback to crew members and shift leads.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve concerns promptly.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new team members.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and reporting.
• Monitor inventory and assist with stock management.
