Job summary

Sizzling Platter LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager in Holiday, FL to support the General Manager with daily restaurant operations and lead shifts. The role combines front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house duties, emphasizing guest service, coaching, and operational consistency.

You will help hire, train, and onboard staff, ensure food safety and cleanliness, and ensure adherence to policies. This hourly, non-exempt position requires strong communication and a collaborative, fast-paced approach.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Lead shifts by directing team members and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to Crew Members and Shift Leads.
• Deliver and model excellent guest service; resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of team members.
• Ensure product quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and reporting.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and stock management.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Step into operational roles (front-of-house and back-of-house) as needed to support business demands.
