Sizzling Platter LLC in New Port Richey, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and lead shifts with an emphasis on guest service and team development.

The role is hourly, non-exempt, involving front-of-house and back-of-house responsibilities, with a focus on food safety, quality, and operational consistency in a fast-paced environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts by directing team members and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to Crew Members and Shift Leads.
• Deliver and model excellent guest service; resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of team members.
• Ensure product quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and stock management.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and reporting.
• Step into operational roles (front-of-house and back-of-house) as needed to support business demands.
• Help drive team performance, accountability, and operational consistency.
