Potbelly is seeking an Assistant Manager in Sandy Springs, GA to co-lead our shop with the General Manager. The role focuses on building a positive, fast-paced environment, leading teams, and maintaining high standards in food safety and operations.

This position offers a competitive base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, PTO, and retirement matching. Experience in restaurant or retail management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years management experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Must pass and obtain a Food Safety Certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old and meet all eligibility requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach and develop Potbelly Associates and Shift Leaders.
• Effectively interview and hire Associates, Certified Trainers and Shift Leaders.
• Develop and maintain a Good Vibes culture to attract and retain staff.
• Schedule Associates, Certified Trainers and Shift Leaders effectively.
• Update communication board with critical shop information; attend meetings.
• Ensure security and back-of-house standards are followed.
