Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) / Assistant Manager in Madison, WI. This role partners with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, recruit and develop Teammates, and maintain high standards of customer service and store operations.

The position progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager, with additional high-level duties while sharing core responsibilities across sales, merchandising and leadership tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Assist Store Manager with leadership and store operations, including recruiting and training Teammates.
• Maintain and develop leadership by training Teammates and acting as Store Manager in their absence.
• Provide direction for sales generation, product knowledge, and customer service.
