Planet Fitness in Reading, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a top-tier Judgement Free member experience while supporting a financially successful club.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with potential evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs. You will recruit, train and develop a high-performing team and ensure exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members, prospective members and guests and ensure staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
• Schedule and supervise staff.
• Oversee member service and ensure superior customer experience.
