Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a Judgement Free member experience while ensuring a financially successful club. This full-time role involves front desk oversight, staff management, member services, scheduling, and daily operational excellence.

You will contribute to recruiting and training teams, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and driving sales and customer satisfaction at our Planet Fitness location in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Confident problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and ensure staff follow superior customer service guidelines.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
• Schedule and supervise staff.
• Oversee member service to ensure a superior experience.
• Resolve or escalate employee issues or concerns.
• Assist with front desk duties including answering phones, member sign-in, tours, and inquiries.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of facility.
• Assist in ordering supplies within budget.
• Track statistics and reports (weekly, monthly, yearly).
• Provide backup coverage for any absent employee.
