Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run theatre operations and train team members across all departments. You will support the General Manager, supervise staff, and ensure consistent guest service and policy adherence.

The role requires availability for flexible hours, strong communication, and the ability to lead with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction within a busy cinema environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completes Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses: Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core.
• Completes basic food handling training and any required local/state certifications.
• Alcohol service training required if handling alcohol.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic, friendly demeanor and excellent guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math.
• Strong verbal and written communication with all ages.
• Ability to work in a team and independently; follow directions.
• Shows urgency and good time management; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to train and lead others; resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows General Manager directions and supports staff decisions.
• Trains and coaches team members in their functions.
• Participates in preparing administrative and special reports for GM.
• Monitors theatre facilities and reports repairs as needed.
• Ensures adherence to dress code and superior guest service.
• Interacts with guests to improve service quality.
• Upholds Cinemark policies and employee relations reporting protocols.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness across work areas.
