Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. in Canton, Ohio seeks an Assistant Manager to help run theatre operations, support the General Manager, and ensure policies and procedures are followed.

You will be cross trained across all departments, train and lead team members, participate in the Management Accreditation Program, and help deliver outstanding guest service while upholding safety, cash handling, and attendance standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Basic food handling training and any local/state certifications.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for those who work with alcohol.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent guest service and cash handling.
• Strong communication in English.
• Ability to train and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager and supports decisions in communication with staff.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in the preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Ensures theatre areas are clean and safe and that dress code is followed.
• Interacts with Guests to provide superior Customer service.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines with fairness and consistency.
• Reports employee relations issues to the General Manager and adheres to reporting protocols.
