GPM Investments, LLC in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Assistant Manager to keep our high-energy convenience store running smoothly across all shifts. You’ll support the Store Manager, run the register, coach teammates, hire and train staff, and step in as acting manager when needed.

Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is required. You will manage inventory, merchandising, scheduling, cash handling, and store financials, while delivering friendly service and upselling promotions.

Qualifications

• Open availability on weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Strong customer service orientation and basic math skills.
• Willing to obtain Food Safety Certification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing customer-service team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to stay stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store—including restrooms and exterior areas.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits, overseeing store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned.
