Job summary

GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 5830 in a high-energy convenience setting. You will oversee customer service, coaching, scheduling, and store operations, stepping in as acting manager when needed.

The role requires open availability, weekend/holiday shifts, and a strong emphasis on leadership, inventory control, and upholding safety standards. Benefits include weekly pay, bonuses, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Open availability required; weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance to complete bank deposits.
• Physical readiness for cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.
• Minimum age 18+ years old.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to learn.
• Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
