Chick-fil-A Layton Hills Mall is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Operations Manager in executing daily restaurant operations, deploying team members, and delegating tasks to enable a high-performance team environment that delivers outstanding service for guests every day.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes staffing, training, and maintaining food safety standards while focusing on customer experience in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Entry-level leadership position.
• Availability to work 25–30 hours per week minimum.
• Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead or restaurant assistant manager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures food safety standards are understood and followed in each area of the restaurant.
• Responsible for hiring and firing.
• Ensures employer brand promise is upheld and delivered.
• Oversees leadership development for the restaurant.
• Forward looking to future needs of the business to ensure the restaurant is properly staffed.
• Ensures FOH schedule is being done correctly and monitors weekly labor numbers.
• Oversee speed of service as it pertains to FOH.
• Responsible for accurate money procedures (InForm, drawer counting, etc).
• Ensures each guest has a positive experience and monitors CEM scores with guest experience manager.
