Job summary

Chick-fil-A Layton Hills Mall is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Operations Manager in delivering daily restaurant performance, hands-on execution, and guest service excellence.

You will lead a team, delegate tasks, train new hires, and help create a friendly, efficient environment during high-volume shifts.

This role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and a commitment to hospitality, with 25–30 hours per week minimum.

Qualifications

• Participating operationally in day to day activities in high-volume fast-paced restaurant.
• Offer the Team encouragement to stay true to 2nd Mile Service goals.
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift and act as a role model for our team.
• Be a friendly encouraging team player

Responsibilities

• Ensures food safety standards are understood and followed in each area of the restaurant
• Responsible for hiring and firing
• Ensures employer brand promise is upheld and delivered
• Oversees leadership development for the restaurant
• Forward looking to future needs of the business to ensure the restaurant is properly staffed
• Ensures FOH schedule is being done correctly and monitors weekly labor numbersOversee speed of service as it pertains to FOH
• Responsible for accurate money procedures (InForm, drawer counting, etc)
• Ensures each guest has a positive experience and monitors CEM scores with guest experience manager.
