Job summary

Burger King in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead daily restaurant operations. You will develop servant leadership, guide staff training, and ensure consistent guest experiences while meeting financial goals.

You’ll welcome and train new team members, run team huddles, coach staff on brand service behaviors, and monitor service speed, cleanliness, and quality. This role emphasizes growth from within the team and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop servant leaders by putting people and restaurant first.
• Create memorable experiences to encourage guest return.
• Balance guest/employee experience with achieving financial goals.
• Welcome new team members and train them to do their job.
• Lead inspiring team huddles to motivate and inform the team.
• Provide ongoing training and coaching to the team.
• Build the capability of shift supervisors for their next level.
• Thank the team and celebrate successes.
• Coach brand service behaviors with training, observation, feedback and celebration.
• Monitor speed of service to meet guest expectations.
• Ensure the restaurant is welcoming and clean.
• Ensure product quality and operations standards are consistently delivered.
• Partner with the Restaurant General Manager to create action plans to improve guest metrics.
• Review sales and scheduling to meet Quality, Service and Cleanliness (QSC).
• Ensure accurate daily numbers and cash handling; HACCP logs.
• Review inventory and order product efficiently.
• Evaluate and implement cost controls.
• Monitor people charts and production planning; adjust as needed.
• Create schedules and onboard new team members.
