Job summary

Rent-A-Center in Akron is seeking a Credit Assistant Manager to access customers’ accounts, collect on balances, and deliver high-quality service in a personal setting. You will help drive growth by maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring smooth in-home deliveries and product setup.

The role involves daily credit/collections, exceptional customer service, in-store merchandising, and active engagement in store operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of retail/customer service, sales or collections experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Credit and collections: positively impact growth and revenue by contacting customers and collecting on accounts daily.
• Provide friendly, top-notch customer experiences with a servant's heart in stores and in customers’ homes.
• Deliveries & pickups: load/unload and install products safely and in compliance with procedures.
• Merchandise: keep store inviting and organized for customers and coworkers.
