Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Marianna, Arkansas, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations, training staff, and delivering quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner for a great guest experience.

You’ll supervise team members and carhops, schedule shifts, monitor inventory and costs, handle administrative tasks, and respond quickly to guest requests while maintaining a friendly, professional atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication with basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Friendly, professional team player with leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Train, monitor and coach team members, carhops and skaters.
• Direct and assign staff to meet food service standards.
• Open and/or close the restaurant as required.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost; perform weekly inventory.
• Maintain records and documentation for administrative duties.
• Provide courteous guest service and promptly address guest requests and complaints.
