Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Forrest City, Arkansas is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive‑in operations, training crew members, and maintaining quality food served in a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

You will supervise team members and carhops, manage staffing and inventory, handle opening/closing duties, and reinforce exceptional guest service while complying with company policies and appearance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or 1 year retail management experience.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication, math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and lead a team with autonomy.
• Adherence to appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service standards.
• Uphold policies from employee handbook.
• Open and/or close the restaurant.
• Monitor staffing, inventory, and food cost controls.
• Complete weekly inventory when needed.
• Assist with administrative duties and documentation.
• Maintain customer service focus and resolve guest requests.
• Address guest complaints with supervision.
