Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Pine Bluff, AR seeks an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in driving operations, training crew, and ensuring safe, clean, efficient service. You will help deliver a great guest experience and uphold SONIC standards.

The role requires leading teams, managing shifts, and handling opening/closing duties, inventory, scheduling, and administrative tasks while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• General knowledge of the restaurant industry or retail operations.
• Effective communication, basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Willingness to follow appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, and coaches Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns employees to meet operational standards.
• Adheres to employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Adjusts staffing, inventory and food cost control as needed.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Assists in administrative duties including maintaining files and records.
• Reinforces customer service focus and guest satisfaction.
• Responds promptly to guest requests and helps resolve complaints.
