Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in driving drive-in operations, training staff, and delivering quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.

You will lead Team Members, Carhops and others, schedule shifts, monitor inventory and costs, and ensure every guest enjoys a great experience. This role requires flexible hours and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Strong communication, math, reading and basic computer skills.
• Able to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team while ensuring customer service standards.
• Maintain appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to ensure service standards.
• Open and/or close the restaurant.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost; complete weekly inventory.
• Maintain records and documentation.
• Foster a customer service mindset and address guest requests.
