Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Trinity, AL is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations and staff training. You will ensure food quality, safety, and efficiency while fostering a positive guest experience.

The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on supervision, and adherence to company policies. You will supervise shifts, manage inventory, and contribute to achieving service standards across the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year in retail management.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to train and coach staff and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in managing drive-in restaurant operations.
• Train and support Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service standards.
• Enforce policies from employee handbook and practices.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost control.
• Complete weekly inventory as needed.
• Handle administrative duties and documentation.
• Maintain customer service focus and respond to guest requests.
