SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily operations, training team members, and upholding quality food safety and service standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, inventory control, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting. Prior QSR management experience is preferred; excellent communication and a customer-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math, reading and computer skills are required.
• Willingness to adhere to appearance and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and coaches Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet service standards and safety policies.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory and food cost controls.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Provides excellent guest service and responds to complaints promptly.
