Job summary

SONIC Drive-In Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in day-to-day operations, training crew, ensuring quality food, cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced drive-in environment.

This role requires leadership, scheduling, cost monitoring, and the ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays; familiarity with QSR operations and basic math; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support other employees to ensure quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner.
• Direct and coach Team/Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost; perform weekly inventory as needed.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle guest requests and complaints.
