Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily drive-in operations and help lead a team in a fast-paced environment. You will assist the General Manager, train staff, uphold safety and cleanliness standards, and ensure a high-quality guest experience.

The role requires at least six months of QSR management or one year in retail management, strong communication, and the ability to multitask. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support other employees to ensure quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner.
• Direct and assign staff to meet operational standards and service goals.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties as needed.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost control; complete weekly inventory.
