Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Assistant Manager of Customer Experience to drive sales growth by attracting, developing, and engaging associates and leading initiatives that enhance the customer experience.

You will coach teams, manage the MOD program, oversee hiring, payroll, training, and store operations to ensure outstanding service and productivity. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected with at least two years of leadership in retail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manager on Duty (MOD) program and coach teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee talent sourcing, hiring, payroll, and new hire orientation to ensure effective staffing and engagement.
• Oversee pricing and signing, stockroom organization, safety initiatives, and store operations to drive productivity.
