Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee daily club operations and ensure a high-quality, Judgement Free member experience. You will lead a team, train staff, manage onboarding, and support the Club Manager in achieving KPI goals while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

You must be 18+, have customer service and leadership experience, and be willing to obtain CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• 9-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• 9-12 months of experience supervising and leading team is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Model behaviours to provide an outstanding member experience and coach others.
• Assist in resolving employee concerns and provide backup staffing.
• Manage inventory for cleaning supplies and order club supplies.
• Track KPI and collaborate with the club manager on improvements.
• Support hiring and onboarding of new team members.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and facility maintenance.
