Job summary

Planet Fitness is hiring an Assistant Manager to help the club manager oversee daily operations and deliver a Judgement Free Zone® experience. You will lead a team, ensure efficient task execution, and support training and onboarding.

The role emphasizes creating a welcoming environment for members and guests while driving KPI goals. The position requires 18+ years of age, 9–12 months of customer service and leadership experience, and willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience supervising or leading a team is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided).
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Coach and inspire others to deliver exceptional member experiences.
• Assist in resolving employee concerns and provide backup staffing.
• Manage club supplies and inventory; support KPI-driven goals.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain clean, safe club environments and equipment.
