Job summary

Fourteen Foods Career Center is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to deliver quality customer service and food products while applying company standards from Fourteen Foods and Dairy Queen. The role requires prior restaurant management experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

• 2+ years of experience as a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar food service management role.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must pass background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Position Overview:

TheRestaurantAssistant Managerprovides quality customer service and food products using standards set by Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen to enhance the customer’s visit, while assisting with and learning restaurant management responsibilities.

Assistant Manager Qualifications:

• 2+ years previous experience as a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar food service management role.


• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.


• Must be 18 years of age or older.


• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.


• Must have reliable transportation.


• Must successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.


• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).


• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
