Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager in Warrenton, VA to lead daily operations alongside the Shift Manager. You will guide a team, supervise 4–12 staff, coordinate events, manage inventory and ordering, and help maintain safety and cleanliness across the restaurant.

You should have restaurant experience, preferably with supervisory duties, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Full-time or part-time shifts vary by location, with compensation to be discussed.

• Computer knowledge is desirable.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
