Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager in Ohio to lead daily restaurant operations, focusing on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, and safety. You will manage a team, schedule staff, and support inventory, ordering, and training processes to drive store success.

Responsibilities include supervising 4–12 employees, coordinating events and promotions, and ensuring consistent brand standards while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.
• Experience in restaurant operation, preferably supervisory.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
