Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager in Broken Arrow, OK to lead day-to-day operations and guest experience. You’ll supervise a small team, ensure food quality, maintain clean and safe conditions, and help manage inventory and scheduling in a fast-paced restaurant.

You’ll support events, promotions, and training, coordinate product orders, and strive for excellent communication with staff and guests in all shift hours. Full-time and part-time roles vary by location.

Qualifications

• Prerequisites include a high school diploma or equivalent and hospitality mindset.
• Experience in restaurant operations with supervisory experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer knowledge are essential for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a staff of 4–12, assign and evaluate work.
• Assist in planning events and promotions, including staff training for events.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
