28039 Jersey Mike's Sykesville is seeking an Assistant General Manager responsible for maintaining a clean restaurant, managing a team, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a high school degree, at least one year of QSR experience, and a Food Handler certification. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Reliable transportation is required, and participation in Jersey Mike's training programs is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer.
• Serve Safe Certification - Food Handler is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

Job Description

Assistant General Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain restaurant that is noticeably cleaner than others
• Work in a fast-paced team driven atmosphere
• Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency
• Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience
• Full understanding of the term’s accountability and integrity
• Key Holder
• Perform all tasks related to opening and closing of store
• Knows how to bake bread and perform all prep
• Manage and lead crew of 3 to 7 people
• Proficient in slicing
• Create employee schedule
• Place inventory orders
• Fill in for Manager in all capacities when neededAssist in employee training
• Lead by example
• Participate in management team meetings and strategy sessions

Qualifications for the job
