Job summary

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is seeking a full-time restaurant manager to lead daily operations in Ottawa, KS. You will oversee guest service, inventory, scheduling, and sales performance while upholding Freddy's standards of hospitality and cleanliness.

This role requires strong communication, financial awareness, and proficiency with restaurant software; you'll drive labor efficiency and cost control, mentor team members, and promote new products and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant management experience.
• Strong communication with guests, team, and managers.
• Ability to manage inventory, schedules, labor, and drive sales.
• Ability to use data to measure performance and KPIs.
• Experience with financial statements, P&L and expense reporting.
• Proficient with common desktop software and restaurant software systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hospitality, quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Handle and resolve guest issues with satisfactory resolution.
• Provide guidance to employees with emphasis on operational excellence.
• Focus on efficiencies in production, labor, and food costs.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order at all times.

• Promote delivery and rollout of new products, marketing initiatives, technology, programs and procedures.
• Support strategies to ensure progress, sales growth and employee retention.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Prior restaurant management
• Use of effective communication skills with guests, team members, and managers
• Ability to manage inventory; set team schedules; optimize labor hours; and drive sales
• Ability to use data to measure performance, productivity, sales, goals, andkey performance indicators
• Experience with financial statements, profit and loss statements and expense reporting
• Proficient in typical desktop software programs and restaurant operating systems

Physical Requirements (including but not limited to):

Available to work a variety of hours to include days, nights, and weekends - 40 - 50 hours per week; Must be able to work up to a 10-hour shift while standing or walking to perform

essential functions; Required to lift up to 50 pounds during the course of a workday; Require bending, stooping, and occasional use of a ladder.
