Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager to focus on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control, staff scheduling and safety. You will supervise 4-12 staff, plan events, and help with ordering and training to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, supervisory experience, and POS familiarity, with day/evening/weekend shifts and opportunities for growth within the Subway team.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant operations, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Computer knowledge is desirable.

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
