Job summary

Subway Team in Montrose, CO is seeking an Assistant Manager who will focus on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control, staff scheduling, safety, and teamwork.

You will manage a staff of 4–12, assist with event planning and promotions, coordinate any needed training, and help with product ordering and inventory to keep the restaurant running smoothly. This is a hands-on role with room to grow within a trusted brand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.
• Computer knowledge and familiarity with Point of Sale systems are desirable.

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
