Job summary

The Tipton Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community. You will maintain and improve the property, respond to resident needs, and help ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least two years of experience, and the ability to use your own tools. Training on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems is a plus, and on-call emergencies are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of maintenance experience.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• On-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Grounds work such as trash pick-up and light landscaping.
• Assist with maintenance: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative tasks.

What do we need you to do?Maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex for current and prospective residents.

The Job:Our assistant maintenance technicians are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies


• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping


• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative

The Details:Our Assistant Maintenance Technicians should meet the following criteria:

• High School Diploma/GED Required


• Have at least two years of experience

• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
