Job summary

Tipton is seeking a dedicated Assistant Maintenance Technician to care for a 240-unit community in Denton, TX. You’ll handle day-to-day maintenance, perform general upkeep, and contribute to resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include on-call emergencies 24/7, grounds work, and assisting with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative tasks. Must have HVAc, plumbing, and electrical knowledge and own tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least two years of experience.
• Own tools required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Professional and courteous manner with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• On-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Grounds work: trash pickup and light landscaping.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance.

The Job:

Our assistant maintenance technicians are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative

The Details:

Our Assistant Maintenance Technicians should meet the following criteria:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Have at least two years of experience
• Provide/use of own tools
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
• Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
