Job summary

The Tipton Group, Denton, TX, is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to uphold the upkeep of a 240-unit community. You will support day-to-day maintenance, respond to after-hours emergencies, and help with grounds and light landscaping.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, two years of experience, and basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge. Use of your own tools is required; a professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of experience in property maintenance or related field.
• Provide and use your own tools.
• Maintain professional and courteous manner with residents and staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the day-to-day maintenance and appearance of a 240-unit apartment community.
• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Perform grounds work including trash pickup and light landscaping.
• Assist with maintenance tasks: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative measures.
