Job summary

The Tipton Group in Dallas, TX is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to maintain the apartment community and ensure resident satisfaction. You will perform day-to-day maintenance, assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative tasks, and support groundskeeping as needed.

We require a High School Diploma or GED, at least three years of experience, and the ability to provide your own tools.

• At least three years of experience.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff.
• Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Complete grounds work such as trash pick-up and light landscaping.
• Assist with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative.

The Job: Our assistant maintenance technicians are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative
