Job summary
The Tipton Group seeks an Assistant Maintenance Technician to maintain a 240-unit apartment community in Denton, TX. You'll handle day-to-day upkeep and respond to maintenance requests to keep residents satisfied.
On-call for 24-hour emergencies, perform grounds work, and assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance. Must have a High School Diploma/GED and at least two years of experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- At least two years of maintenance experience.
- Provide/use of own tools.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and staff.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
- Complete grounds work such as trash pick-up and light landscaping.
- Assist with various maintenance types: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative.

Our assistant maintenance technicians are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:
- Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
- Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
- Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative
Our Assistant Maintenance Technicians should meet the following criteria:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Have at least two years of experience

- Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
