Job summary

Search Results is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare apartments for new residents and assist the Lead Maintenance Technician with daily tasks across the property, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.

You will maintain pool and Jacuzzi areas, handle on-call duties, and assist with ordering supplies under the Property Manager’s direction. A valid driver’s license and at least 6 months of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Six months related maintenance experience, including light electrical and plumbing.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English for business purposes.
• Ability to read and write instructions, memos, service requests.
• On-call availability.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Complete light maintenance repairs to prepare apartments for new residents.
• Handle maintenance requests in occupied apartments: plumbing, appliances, carpentry, painting, roof repairs.
• Perform maintenance in leasing office, clubhouse, laundry rooms, models, pool areas, and fences.
• Maintain pool and Jacuzzi areas including chemical checks and repairs.
• Assess extraordinary maintenance: gutters, parking lot, lighting, fences, carpeting.
• Deposit ice-melt and shovel snow during inclement weather.
• Order maintenance materials with approval of the Property Manager.
• Relaying or repairing carpeting.
• Act as Lead Maintenance Technician when necessary.
• Complete tasks assigned by Property Manager or Property Supervisor.
