Job summary

Taleo is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare apartments for new residents and assist the Lead Maintenance Technician with other duties across the property. The role covers repairs in empty and occupied units, plus work in common areas and outdoor spaces to keep the property in top condition.

Responsibilities include maintenance requests, pool area upkeep, and assisting with major repairs as needed. On-call availability and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Six (6) months related experience, including light electrical and plumbing.
• Must be able to read and write instructions, memos, and service requests; communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Completing light maintenance repairs to prepare apartments for new residents.
• Addressing maintenance requests in occupied apartments including plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, painting, and roof repairs.
• Performing maintenance in leasing office, clubhouse, laundry rooms, models, pool areas, and fences.
• Maintaining pool and Jacuzzi areas: chemical checks, cleaning, repairs.
• Assessing extraordinary maintenance needs (e.g., guttering, parking lot repairs, exterior lighting, fences, carpet damage).
• Depositing ice-melt and shoveling snow when needed.
• Ordering maintenance materials with approval from Property Manager.
• Relaying or repairing carpeting.
• Assuming the responsibilities of a Lead Maintenance Technician when necessary.
• Completing all tasks from Property Manager or Property Supervisor
