Job summary

Search Results is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare apartments for new residents and assist the Lead Maintenance Technician with preventive and corrective maintenance across the property. The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, roofing, and general facility upkeep.

Responsibilities include pool area maintenance, on-call readiness, ordering supplies with manager approval, and stepping in for the Lead Technician when needed.

Qualifications

• Six months of related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to read, speak and understand English for business purposes.
• Able to read and write instructions, short correspondence, memos, service requests, and converse professionally.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Completing light maintenance repairs to prepare apartments for new residents
• Maintaining maintenance requests in occupied apartments including plumbing, major appliance repairs, interior/exterior carpentry, painting, and roof repairs
• Performing maintenance in leasing office, clubhouse, laundry rooms, models, pool areas, and property fences
• Maintaining pool and Jacuzzi areas including chemical checks, cleaning, and repairs to the system
• Assessing extraordinary maintenance required for the property (guttering, parking lot repairs, lighting, fencing, carpet damage)
• Responsible for snow/ice removal during inclement weather
• Ordering maintenance materials, supplies, and products with approval of the Property Manager
• Relaying or repairing carpeting
• Assuming Lead Maintenance Technician responsibilities when necessary
• Completing all job-related tasks assigned by Property Manager or Property Supervisor
